How to Run Recon

Recon is your data layer — free property and market intelligence built on real public data (Census demographics, FRED economic indicators, county records). It's the same engine that powers the living Map. Here's how to use it.

What Recon gives you (free)

• Market intelligence — population, income, ownership, and economic signal for any market.
• Heating markets — where the come-up is moving right now, from real Case-Shiller HPI, mortgage-rate, and density signal (not opinions).
• Property signal — the data picture on a parcel: valuation context, owner signal, and more.

How to run it

1. Open Recon from the app navigation.
2. Enter a market (a city or county) to pull market intelligence, or a property to pull parcel-level signal.
3. Read the report. Every number is sourced — that's the standard. If we can't cite it, we don't show it.

Free vs. premium

The free layer is real, cited public data — enough to make money. The premium velocity layer adds enriched data and automation so you move faster (skip-trace, deeper owner data, AI). Free makes money; paid makes money faster. We never paywall the draw.

Tips

• Start with the market before the parcel — know the neighborhood's signal first.
• Cross-check Recon's heating-markets view against where your crew is already working.
• Recon feeds the whole platform: every market you study makes your Today missions and the FYP smarter.
